The event that led to the cartoon happened about 25 years ago. The boss who said those words was a great guy. He was showing appreciation for our efforts, but the words gave it an interesting and amusing twist.
I first worked in an architect's office as a high school student in 1964. I worked for an architectural millwork and casework subcontractor in 1970-71 between an enlistment in the Navy and returning to college. After college I worked for a house builder for 2 years and have worked in architecture since then, specializing in construction documents and construction administration services and related project management and supervision. Reminds me of some of the State job titles I've seen over the years. Mine was "Associate Agency Information and Network Systems Chief"! What?
